This lineup of floors has been assembled to meet a wide range of consumer taste. What each series has in common is they are all produced from domestic northern hardwoods, and are all precision-milled to our exacting standards. Our northern species (Red Oak, Maple, Birch, Ash, and Walnut) have a tighter grain pattern because of their shorter growing season, and are generally more uniform in colour, more stable, and less susceptible to warping and twisting then if they were grown in Appalachia and down through the southern U.S.
